Auro

Cookie Policy

Effective: 28 September 2026

1. About this policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Auro uses cookies and similar technologies on our website at auro.build and in the app at app.auro.build. For how we handle personal data more generally, see our Privacy Policy.

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. "Similar technologies" includes things like local storage, which a site can use to remember information in your browser. We use these for a few specific purposes, set out below.

3. What we use

NameWhat it doesHow long it lasts
__sessionKeeps you signed in to the app. Set by our sign-in provider.Until you sign out or your session expires, at most 7 days
__client_uatRecords when your sign-in state last changed so the app can check it quickly. Set by our sign-in provider.Until you sign out or your session expires, at most 7 days
sidebar_stateRemembers whether the side menu in the app is open or closed.7 days
Local storageRemembers certain view settings in the app and saves your progress through the demonstration request form on the website.Until you clear your browser storage

The sign-in cookies are strictly necessary. The app will not work without them, so they do not need your consent. If you block them, you will not be able to log in. The side menu cookie and local storage only remember choices you have made.

Analytics. We use a privacy-friendly analytics tool to understand how the Service is used and how quickly pages load, so we can improve it. It does not set cookies and is designed not to identify you personally. This kind of measurement-only analytics does not need prior consent under UK rules, as long as we tell you about it here and give you a simple way to object. See "Managing cookies".

Embedded tools. A few pages embed a third-party tool, for example the booking calendar you see when you ask for a demonstration. The tool loads only when you use that feature and may set its own cookies, which are covered by its provider's privacy policy.

4. What we don't use

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not use cross-site tracking or share your data with advertising networks.

5. Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies and clear local storage through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block or remove them. Please remember that blocking strictly-necessary cookies will stop you being able to log in to Auro. If you would like to opt out of analytics, you can do so through your browser controls or by contacting us at hello@auro.build.

6. Changes and contact

We may update this policy if our use of cookies changes. For any questions, contact hello@auro.build.
