It replaces the spreadsheets and email threads most practices still rely on. Auro is built in the UK and works for construction projects of any size. Contractors use it free to price the tenders they are invited to.
Yes. In Auro you describe the project by voice or by typing, the way you would explain it to a colleague, and Auro iQ, the AI built into Auro, drafts the cost plan or schedule of works with you. It suggests a structure, writes the sections and item descriptions and waits for you to confirm before anything is saved. Every line stays editable. Rates always come from you, typed in or pulled from your own rate libraries, so the estimate is yours from the first draft.
Auro turns a finished pricing document into a tender in a few clicks. You choose the contractors, set the return date and Auro emails each one a link to price the schedule of works online. Their returns save as they go and stay closed until the return date. Addenda and post-tender queries are handled in the same place, and every return then opens side by side in the tender analysis, ready for your tender report.
Yes. Auro is built around your own construction rates and cost data. Import rates from Excel or PDF, add rates as you price projects and pull them straight into a cost plan. Save project benchmarks and compare them when you estimate the next job. Standard sections and clauses can be saved as templates and dropped into any schedule of works, and your tender report wording is saved as a workspace template so each new report starts nearly written. Everyone in your team shares the same library.
Everything you produce in Auro exports in the formats clients and contractors already use. Cost plans and schedules of work export to Excel with live formulas and to PDF with your logo. Tender returns and the tender analysis export to Excel, and the tender report exports as a client-ready PDF. Contractors can export their own return to Excel to price with their subcontractors.
Yes. Contractors and subcontractors use Auro free to receive tender invitations, price schedules of work online, respond to addenda and answer queries. There is nothing to install and no limit on the number of tenders. Up to five people from the same company can share a workspace.
Auro has two plans. Free is for contractors responding to tenders. Team is for consultancies that estimate, specify and tender. Team is currently offered to founding members on introductory pricing and there are two places left. Book a demo to find out more.
